Linda Brewer is a watercolor artist and longtime resident artist at the Rowan County Arts Center. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1967 and began her professional career as a microbiologist at the State Health Department in Frankfort before moving to Rowan County to live and work at the Minor Clark Fish Hatchery.

Brewer began taking art classes at Morehead State University for personal enrichment, eventually developing a deep commitment to painting. She currently teaches watercolor classes at the Rowan County Arts Center, where she continues to share her experience and passion for the medium with students of all ages.

Her work reflects years of study, practice, and teaching, and she remains an active presence in both the studio program and the Arts Center’s educational offerings.
